Our story

Built by people who were tired of unfinished courses

Brightpath started in 2021 as a side project between a designer, an engineer and a coach who each had the same complaint: online courses were easy to sell and easy to buy, but almost nobody finished them.

So we set out to build the opposite: a platform where the curriculum structure, the cohort tools and the community features weren’t bolted on after launch, but were the actual foundation of the product.

Today Brightpath powers cohort-based schools, solo coaches and growing course businesses who care as much about completion rates as they do about sign-ups. Every feature we ship starts with one question: will this help a student actually finish?

We’re a small, remote-first team of eleven people spread across four countries, still led by the three of us who started it — now joined by instructors, engineers and a community team who keep the whole thing running.

What we believe

The principles behind every feature

Outcomes over hours watched

We design courses around what students can do afterward, not how many minutes of video they sat through.

Community is the curriculum

Every course ships with cohorts and discussion, because most people finish a course because someone else is doing it with them.

Instructors are partners

Instructors keep the majority of revenue, own their content, and get real analytics instead of a black box.
